Founder Andile. L.N. Simelane started the Sims Gourmet brand to help home cooks, housewives, and Chefs at local eateries to cook meals gourmet, unique standard with ease and help standardize recipes by using the Sims Gourmet products range.

That’s why we started Simz Legacy because Restaurant businesses had to shut down during the lockdowns thus enabling aspiring cooks and housewives to better their meal offerings with ease and help with consistency and bringing them to gourmet standards. The solution is to simplify cooking without compromising tasty gourmet flavors and meal offerings/recipe standardization.

Along the way with the resale date from March 2020, Sims Gourmet has managed to gain a market share in Gauteng and some parts of Cape Town, Mpumalanga, and KZN. However, we continue to strive to grow a market share nationally and prove that our products are of value for money, simplified cooking as well as high quality. Not forgetting to mention that they are Superfoods, meaning they are high in nutrients and promote healthy and balanced eating habits.
